2015: Our year in review

Our biggest change of the year was our move to C block. We are very happy in our updated new surroundings and hope that you are too.

Clinic News

We have had some staff changes over the course of this year. We have welcomed a new women’s health doctor, Sarah Smith to the clinic and endocrinologist Rhonda Maguire has returned from an extended leave. We are also thrilled to have clinic nurse Alison Booth working with Peta in the clinic.

Research News

  • We were awarded a Clinical Research Site award from INC research for our work in clinical trials.
  • Preliminary findings from our study on osteoporosis treatment for people with coeliac disease were presented at the Australian Menopause Society by Professor Bronwyn Stuckey. Our initial findings are promising, however we still need more participants.
  • Vanessa Gonzalez is currently doing her honours project on our PCOS and genetics study.
  • Jocelyn Tan is currently working at reduced capacity following the birth of her baby in March, as is Joanna Wagner.  You may have seen Jocelyn’s baby featuring on some of our promotional material for sperm donation.
